I hate city driving.

I had to take my Father into Downtown Cleveland to pick up a check this afternoon. I'm not a huge fan of driving and I *HATE* city driving. I ended up on the seventh level of a seven layer parking garage.

The day started off kinda crappy but mostly redeemed itself after a trip to Kmart netted me Sinestro Corps Batman and Donkey Kong Returns for the Wii. Having that Batman made me take the plunge on the whole DCU Series 17 wave from BBTS too. That Anti-monitor is too awesome to ignore and hopefully they will release some more JLA Emotional Corp. officers. We already have Wonder Woman/Love, Atom/Compassion, Batman/Fear, Flash/Hope. Guy was Anger, John or Kyle could be Will, Superman was a white Lantern, Hal would probably have to be Avarice since no one else could be. There are plenty of Black Lanterns to choose from so that's covered.

But I digress. :)

Now back to my writing. I want to have the first issue done where I can have a friend proofread and critique it Friday.

Starting off

Lots of people have blogs so I figured I might as well get one too. I don't want all my wit, humor, and fist shaking to be confined to the Facebook/Myspace/Twitter conglomeration.

Since we just passed the first of the (new) year, happy 2011 by the way, I thought I'd lay out some goals I have for myself in the coming 12 months. They are as follows,

-Revise my four issue miniseries to the point I can start looking for artists confident I won't be wasting both of our times.

-Lose five pounds. We can all stand to be a bit thinner right?

-Cultivate love. Hopefully with one person in particular (she knows who she is) but I'm still open to being completely blindsided by someone else. Everyone should get a fair chance to "wow" me.

I have other goals of course but the other ones are quite a bit bigger and are pretty dependent on those three happening so let's stop there for now.

I'll be very interested to look on this as 2011 turns into 2012 and see how little (or how much) I will have accomplished. I'll try and keep updating but can't promise I'll make it everyday.

In closing, new MLP toys this Friday at McDonalds! Excited!
